Hytherm 150 supplemental alkalinity treatment is a concentrated alkaline solution for use in systems where a hydroxide alkalinity builder is required. Hytherm 150 treatment is recommended for use in steam boilers and in cooling towers or wastewater streams where an increase in alkalinity is needed. Hytherm 150 is USDA authorized for use in treating boilers where the steam will contact food or meat products; and for use in retorts used to cook and cool containers of meat and poultry.
